We are so proud to announce the 2018 Campaign Co-Chairs: Nancy Stanley and Jim Normand. They are both excited to take on the challenge of chairing a United Way campaign this year!

Nancy Stanley, a successful realtor in the Anderson County area for over 30 years, says, “I so respect United Way [of Anderson County], especially after I learned it decreased its overhead costs by 18% last year. I want to give my charitable donations where my dollars go to those in need.”

Jim Normand, born in Oak Ridge, is a practicing lawyer and member of Anderson County, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, Tennessee Trial lawyers Associations and The Association of Trial lawyers of America. He is an active board member for Boys Club of Oak Ridge an Rotary Club. “It is impossible for me to determine which agencies are worthy to receive funds. United Way does this research for me,” he says. “Communicating and working together for all makes all the difference. That’s what it’s all about!”

United Way of Anderson County tackles difficult issues in Anderson County through a combination of grant funding, trainings and workshops, special initiatives, and technical support. All funding and assistance is targeted through three focus areas – Youth Development, Self Sufficiency, and Health & Senior Services – that help narrow in on the unique needs of this community.

Campaign Co-Chairs are a key part of any campaign, as they help raise awareness and fundraising throughout the community and advocate for United Way of Anderson County to local businesses. Ms. Stanley and Mr. Normand are the perfect team to fight for this community. Because united we fight. And united we win.
